Ultrasonic Cleaner Codyson Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner CD - 4820 is a stainless steel tank with ultrasonic transducers, usually piezoelectric, attached to its walls. An electronic ultrasonic generator supplies alternating current of the required frequency, which is captured by the emitters and converted into mechanical vibrations.The operation of the cleaner is based on the cavitation effect, where millions of tiny air bubbles are formed and collapse within a short time in the liquid. This process occurs as a result of alternating low and high-pressure waves under the influence of ultrasound. When air bubbles come into contact with the surface of the treated items, they burst, creating numerous small shock waves. This ensures deep cleaning that only an ultrasonic cleaner can provide.

Specifications

Cleaning methods:

1. General cleaning. Use distilled water. Observe the maximum liquid level. Place the item in the tank, fill with water so it is fully immersed but below the maximum mark. Press “Start”. During the process, dirt will separate and disappear. Once the liquid clears, cleaning is finished. Cycle time – about 3 minutes.

2. Intensive cleaning. Used with cleaning solutions. Place items in the plastic basket and lower into the container. Press “TC”. After about 40 minutes the temperature will reach 65 °C and heating will stop automatically. To reduce heating time, use preheated (but not boiling) liquid. Then press SET, select cleaning time from 280–480 seconds, and confirm with ON.

3. Special cleaning. Suitable for heavily greased items. Add about 4 ml of liquid soap to the cleaning solution. Set cleaning time (280–480 seconds) using SET and start with ON.

4. Combined cleaning. Used for complex parts (e.g., pneumatic valves, hydraulic guides, fuel injectors). Place the part in the basket and turn on the heater as in intensive cleaning. After the liquid reaches 65 °C and the heater switches off, add 4 ml of liquid soap. Set duration to 480 seconds (via SET) and start with ON.
